It borrows all of the powerful, improvised elements of traditional jazz from Shaw’s breathtaking saxophone playing, and marries it with the grimy, 808 production of Memphis trap music. The combination is fiery, yet smooth; with Shaw instrumentally gliding in and out of the beat better than any rapper could fathom.
